Product Overview
LTEM-P Communicators utilize the latest LTE® technology specifically designed for loT devices to communicate with AlarmNet®. The CAT-M1 LTE technology, used by leading carriers, has greater signal strength and power efficiency, improving performance underground and within structures. LTE CAT-M1 technology is available everywhere that current LTE networks reach with strong enough reception for consistent connections. The LTEM-P Communicators easily connect to customers' security system control panels and sends alarms and messages to AlarmNet for transfer to the central monitoring station. The LTEM-P Line includes the following models: LTEM-PV (Verizon® network) & LTEM-PA (AT&T® network)
The LTEM-P Line also supports these optional plug-in modules:
- LTE CAT-1 Cell Radio Module for enhanced cellular radio features (model PROLTE series)
- Wi-Fi®/Z-Wave® Module for Wi-Fi connection to the Internet and/or for control of home automation devices (model PROWIFIZW)
- Dialer Capture Module for use with control panels that send Contact ID signals via Dialer (model PRODCM)
- Wi-Fi Module for Wi-Fi connection to Internet
Main Features
- Quick connection to both Resideo control panels (ex. VISTA controls) and compatible non-Resideo (non-VISTA) control panels
- Supports both ECP and Bus connections to compatible control panels
- Power supplied by a 9V DC Power Adapter (included)
- Supports dynamic or static IP addressing, and installs behind firewalls without compromising network security (provided that the Communication Path includes IP)
- Supports connection to the Internet via Ethernet cable or WiFi – only one method can be used, Ethernet or WiFi, not both
- Reports alarms and status messages via the Internet
- Reports messages via cell as backup to Internet reporting (provided that the Communication Path includes cell)
- Allows uploading and downloading of VISTA control panel data
- Supports Remote Services feature, which allows the end user to access their security system from their computer via a website.
- Multi-function Test switch used to generate test messages
