AXIS Q1686-DLE Uses radar to reliably monitor vehicle speeds up to 200 km/h (125 mph), 24/7. It can monitor vehicles in multiple lanes and accurately detect both speed and direction. And thanks to multiple line-crossing scenario, the same vehicle must cross two virtual lines to trigger an alarm, making the notifications more accurate. With a low false alarm rate, police can act upon reliable alarms and, for instance, quickly stop vehicles driving the wrong way. Based on an open platform, AXIS Q1686-DLE is compatible with traffic monitoring systems and platforms. It can be used to trigger other devices, for instance, a strobe light to warn and deter wrong-way drivers. What’s more, generated metadata can be gathered and visualized in a dashboard for valuable insights.
