Search Tips

How to use our search functionality to find the product solutions you need

    We continually work to improve the product search functionality and capabilities of our Digital Branch. We aim to make searching for the products you need on our website simple and easy. You can search for items in one of three ways:

    Search Using the Search Bar
    Search Using the Search Bar

    Using our search bar, you can search by keyword, product name, brand, category, part number, partial part number and so much more.

    Search by Products
    Search by Products

    Hover over the word "Shop" on the navigation bar at the top of the page, choose your product category and drill down to more specific subcategories or products from there.

    Search by Brand
    Search by Brand

    Hover over the word "Brands" on the navigation bar at the top of the page and choose from all brands, brands exclusive to ADI, featured brands or new brands.

      Search Using the Search Bar

      When you search using the search bar, you can type a product, brand name, category or model number.
       
      Search by model number or partial model number
      Type in the model number of the product you are searching for, and the search bar will auto-populate the product in a preview pane. You can also type in a partial model number and the search bar will auto-populate any products that have that search string in the model number.

      Product brand name, product type, or another attribute
      Another option is to type in a product type, a brand name, or any other attribute (i.e., "5MP") and the search bar will begin auto-populating products that fit the criteria of what is being entered.

      Product category
      Enter any product category into the search bar, and you will see a list of related categories and subcategories auto-populate in the search bar's preview pane. You can click on any product or category that displays in the preview pane.
       
      Hitting "enter" after any of these options will display a results page related to what is typed into the search bar.

      Search by Products

      Hover over the word "Shop" on the navigation bar at the top of the page, choose your product category, choose a subcategory, and drill down to more specific products from there.
      Once you've clicked through to a product results page after narrowing your search enough through the category and subcategory panes, you can filter your results by using the filter menus on the left side of the page.

      Using these filter menus, you can narrow your results further by Brand Name, Deals and Promotions, and other more specific attributes within the More Ways to Shop section.

      Search by Brand

      Hover your pointer over the "Brands" link in the navigation bar and choose if you're looking for all brands, brands exclusive to ADI, featured brands, or if you want to search new brands.
       
      All brands
      Clicking on "Shop All Brands" will take you to an A-to-Z list of all the brands ADI offers. You can then simply search by the name of the brand you're looking for.

      Brands exclusive to ADI
      When you click on "Exclusive to ADI," you'll see a page with a selection of ADI's own top-quality brands. 

      Featured brands
      When you click on the "Featured Brands" link, you'll see a page of ADI's featured brands across a range of categories. Click on a brand and you will see that brand's page of products. Some featured brands have pages that feature additional resources such as brochures, any available product or support videos, spec sheets, firmware downloads and more. 

      New brands 
      When you click on the "New Brands" it will take you to a landing page with a selection of ADI's new supplier partners.
