Product Overview

The Tascam DA-3000SD combines a top-of-the-range, reference-grade master recorder and AD converter for musically correct recording at high sample rates. Using only the highest quality components, the DA-3000SD continues to set the industry standard for professional master recording and AD/DA conversion.

Main Features

  • PCM recording at up to 192 kHz, DSD recording at up to 5.6 MHz
  • Can also be used as a phase-coherent pure standalone AD/DA converter
  • High-precision TCXO (less than 1 ppm) for sample-accurate clock synchronisation
  • Zero-noise design - no cooling fans or other mechanical noise sources
  • Two premium galvanically isolated BurrBrown PCM1795 converters for minimum interference between channels
  • Separate transformer coils for digital and analogue circuits to ensure extremely clean supply voltages
  • Two units can be cascaded to record two mono files
  • Up to eight units can be cascaded to create a 16-track DSD recording environment
  • USB media can be used to play or copy files
  • Automatic file closing function to prevent the loss of already recorded data
